“Vibrant, full of life, and culture, Baltimore is home to a plethora of untapped potential and exciting opportunities.”
From art galleries to ethnic food, Azizat can’t get enough of Baltimore’s great blend of arts, culture, and diversity. To see art, she recommends the Baltimore Art Museum, School 33, Gallery 788, Goya Contemporary, and Jordan Faye Block Gallery. Azizat’s favorite spots for ethnic food are Peju’s for Nigerian dishes; Helmand for Afghan food, especially their lamb pallow; Thai Arroy for their drunken noodles; Samos for Greek food; and Honey Pig for Korean BBQ—to name a few.
Last spring, Azizat gained professional experience in her fields of study through an internship with Baltimore-based Feats, Inc. She managed the company’s social media initiatives, bookkeeping, and created reports to analyze business performance.
