Neighborhood:
Historic park with one of the best views in the city.

Federal Hill Park is a short walk from the Inner Harbor and provides an iconic view of downtown. It was used as a military outpost in the War of 1812 because of its panoramic views- approaching enemy ships could be easily spotted. Today Baltimore residents use the park to picnic, read, and enjoy the view. On Thursdays in July and August take in a free outdoor movie sponsored by the American Visionary Art Museum- take a seat on the bank of the park and enjoy "Flicks From the Hill."
