Although summer may feel far off when we keep seeing ""s crop up in the forecast, but, trust us, it’ll be here before you know it! So it’s time to start looking ahead and planning for summer internships, cohorts, and leadership development opportunities that have upcoming deadlines.
Our signature year-long civic leadership program will give you the inspiration and resources you need to create real social change. This is the perfect opportunity to hone your leadership skills, connect with students from different institutions, and strengthen your connection with the inspiring community where you live and study.

Public Service Scholars Summer Fellowships
Public Service Scholars programs provide paid fellowships for Maryland's "best and brightest" college students. Fellows are placed in full-time summer internships in government agencies or nonprofit organizations across the state, and are mentored by senior-level professionals. Fellows attend seminars, trips, and events with their cohort, have the opportunity to learn from and network with state leaders and program alumni, and work on substantive projects culminating in presentations to Maryland's leaders.

Baltimore Corps Fellows Cohort
Baltimore Corps is seeking 45 Fellows who are as dynamic as our city. Baltimore Corps Fellows are strong leaders and critical thinkers who have a strong vision and passion for social impact. Fellows are deployed to work with leading social entrepreneurs and cause leaders therefore Baltimore Corps strives to identify unique candidates who excel both as members of a team and as individual leaders.

Bloomberg Arts Internship College Mentors
The Bloomberg Arts Internship offers paid summer internships to 35 rising seniors from Baltimore City Public High Schools. College Mentors (this is where you come in) play a key role in supporting interns throughout the program. The College Mentors are present on both Professional Development days (Thursdays and Fridays) and work closely with the interns to support them with their college search and exploring the Common Application. In addition, College Mentors provide the one-to-one support in making sure their interns are completing work, responding to feedback, and building their portfolios. When not facilitating workshops, they are working closely with students in a variety of capacities.
