The organization continues to facilitate growth in local technology communities by linking companies and individuals using news, events, and resources. is geared towards bringing great minds from the tech and startup community together. The Baltimore Collegetown Network brings 13 colleges and universities together to attract, engage, and retain students and raise the profile of Baltimore as a great college town. The organization’s programs and partnerships help colleges share resources for 120,000 students in the Baltimore area. Primary programs include: academic partnerships, transportation, marketing, internships, research studies, engagement programs, and Collegetown LeaderShape. Both and the Baltimore Collegetown Network believe in investing in Baltimore City and our region’s next citizens and leaders who will make our communities stronger.

Baltimore Innovation Week is a week-long salute to technology and innovation scheduled from September 23- October 1, 2016. In 2015, BIW turned out 57 events during 10 days and almost 10,000 people. This year the technologists and entrepreneurs of Baltimore are celebrating the conference beginning with the BIW Kickoff Festival with The Gathering at Power Plant Live. The conference events will showcase the area’s technology scene in Baltimore and bring together the creative force of individuals in the tech community. BIW offers the space where the private sector, civic sector, university sector, public sector, and others may gather to work on creating solutions for the needs of Baltimore City citizens.
