The University of Baltimore

Leaders Learn Here
Since 1925, The University of Baltimore has excelled in developing leaders in Baltimore and beyond. UBalt is nationally recognized for serving career-focused working adults, and our approach to education is different by design. Accelerated programs in today’s most in-demand fields, stackable credentials, experiential learning and flexible program delivery define the UBalt learning experience. Classes are available online or in person and during the day, at night or on the weekend. Across our four schools—the Yale Gordon College of Arts and Sciences, the Merrick School of Business, the College of Public Affairs and the UB School of Law—you’ll find renowned faculty who are leading practitioners in their field. Our programs are ranked nationally—some internationally. And our students are just as nontraditional as we are: some are right out of high school, others are working adults returning to finish their undergraduate degrees and still others are seasoned professionals looking to advance their careers.
  • At The University of Baltimore, the city is your campus.
  • We provide Knowledge That Works: real-world career preparation and the hands-on experience employers demand at a fraction of the cost of other institutions.
  • We cater to the working adult with flexible course schedules.
  • Robert L. Bogomolny Library offers tutoring services, a writing center, research support, textbooks, printing and more to support our students at every stage.
  • Located in midtown Baltimore, we’re steps away from it all. There are plenty of public transportation options, a variety of dining spots, and many entertainment venues.
  • UBalt is designed to make sure everyone fits in and succeeds.
  • "This school is really showing me that no matter what path I choose, in terms of writing, I'll be good at it. And I'm grateful for that."

  • "It's very personable. You get to know people. You're not just your student ID—which sometimes you can get lost in the larger universities—so that that was a huge thing for me."
