"Having a life outside of school but still having ‘smalltimore’ experiences while doing other things feels like everything is coming together naturally, organically."

Aaron’s favorite things about Baltimore are its small town feel and big city charm. “You will meet someone new at a party or at a friend’s house and then see them the next day half-way across the city at a farmer’s market or on the Lightrail. Having a life outside of school but still having ‘smalltimore’ experiences while doing other things feels like everything is coming together naturally, organically.”
The American Visionary Art Museum embodies the essence of Baltimore, Aaron says. “I think the spirit of ‘amateur’ or ‘self-taught’ artists speaks to how a lot of Baltimoreans live their lives; be yourself and let the good stuff you’re doing shine through.” Another one of his favorite spots in the city is the Baltimore Zoo. In his free time, Aaron likes to support the Baltimore birds – either enjoying the game at Camden Yards or cheering on the Ravens at home, with friends, or at a local bar.
The Baltimore Collegetown Network brings 13 area colleges and universities together with government, business and community leaders to develop and market Baltimore as a vibrant place to live and learn.
