"Baltimore is a city that never stops. There is always something to do, see, or experience – it’s impossible to be bored here."

For Allison, Hampden perfectly represents Baltimore’s artsy, quirky vibe with its offbeat boutiques, restaurants, antique stores, and coffee shops. “Baltimore is a city that never stops. There is always something to do, see, or experience – it’s impossible to be bored here.”
From the arts to sporting events, there is always something new to discover in Baltimore. Allison likes the American Visionary Art Museum for its quirky and cool exhibits. She takes in Baltimore’s thriving theater scene at the Hippodrome and Vagabound Players in Fells Point, an intimate “hole-in-the-wall” theater that puts on fantastic musicals. The only place to be in Baltimore during football season for Allison is M&T Bank Stadium. “I may be a bit biased, but Ravens fan or not, the food, people, and halftime show make it worth the time and money.”
An internship with Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center gave Allison the opportunity to gain meaningful work experience and give back to the city she loves. She helped the hospital improve its marketing strategy for its Care-A-Van mobile health unit that brings quality healthcare to inner-city residents.
