After several active volunteer experiences in Baltimore, Nikki wanted to expand her network and became a Collegetown Fellow. She gained entrepreneurial skills that she hopes to use to benefit Baltimore and beyond and hopes to become a skilled fundraiser to bring resources to communities in need.
She has already connected to organizations like The 6th Branch where she wrote grants to help expand their operations and she would like to continue to volunteer by promoting healthcare accessibility, especially important in light of the COVID-19 pandemic. She believes everyone should have access to health literacy so they can make informed healthcare decisions.
When she's not volunteer, Nikki’s favorite thing to do in the city is exploring the vast variety of foods. Her favorite places include Barcocina, Abbey Burger Bistro, SoBo Café, and Mother’s Grille.
