About Underground Food 2023
Collegetown Underground is returning to in-person programming in 2023, this year focused on Food! The Underground Food program offers a deep dive into the history and cultural impact of food in the Baltimore region throughout time. The food ecosystem is driven by community and Underground will explore the economic, environmental, and sociological impacts of this ecosystem. Students will be exposed to unexpected tastes and connected with community leaders and local historians.

The program will includes visits with The Maryland Food Bank, The Hammond-Harwood House for a Taste of Maryland, Baltimore Museum of Industry, Lexington Market, The Chesapeake Bay Foundation, Black Yield Institute, and more!
