Baltimore Collegetown Marketing Intern

Internship Responsibilities

  • Execute Collegetown's Weekly Cheap and Free newsletter by:
    • Researching content and events
    • Managing program updates and blogs for the newsletter
    • Writing fun, brand friendly copy as needed
  • Manage incoming internships via Collegetown's internship platform
  • Write timely blog posts
  • Occasionally conceptualize and/or execute social media content
  • Represent Baltimore Collegetown at tabling and outreach opportunities
  • Document social media and website analytics

Skill Set Required

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organized, self-motivated, energetic and detail-oriented.
  • General knowledge of the Baltimore Collegetown Network and the Baltimore area.
  • Proficient in Google Drive products (Docs, Sheets, etc.) and social media (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, instagram, TikTok).
  • Confident public speaker.
  • Comfortable interacting with staff and the public in a courteous and professional manner.

Hours per week: 10-20 hours
Workdays: Flexible
Pay: Yes, $12-15 stipend
