Baltimore Warehouse Collaborative Intern

Internship Responsibilities

The Baltimore Warehouse Collaborative (BCW) Intern will have the exciting opportunity to gain valuable experience and knowledge from 6 unique Baltimore nonprofit organizations while also playing an integral role in the growth of the Warehouse Collaborative.  

BCW interns will be responsible for welcoming guests to the warehouse during normal business hours, guiding guests to their destinations and answering general warehouse questions in person and via the Warehouse Collaborative email.

BCW interns will also be responsible for accepting incoming donations, issuing donation receipts, and assisting guests with donation drop off and pick up when necessary.  

Skill Set Required

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Interest in non-profit operations.

Internship Location

Baltimore , MD


Semester: Ongoing
Hours per week: 1-10 hours
Workdays: Wednesday 3pm-6pm, Thursday 3pm-6pm Saturday 9am-2pm | Willing to offer partial schedules as well
Pay: No
Authorization Requirements: U.S. Citizen/U.S. National

About The Maryland Book Bank

The Maryland Book Bank distributes free children's books to children, families, and educators across Maryland. We work with programs such as Raising A Reader, The Literacy Lab, Reading Partners and the Grade level Reading Coalition as well as foundations and government agencies. We serve over 50,000 children and 660 organizations each year and distribute over 200,000 books per year in our Book Bank and Ravens Bookmobile.
