Business Analyst Intern

Internship Responsibilities

Non- profit company is seeking a motivated business analyst intern who is ready to apply knowledge of business practices and processes in a fast-paced, real-world environment. The intern will assist in writing reports, conducting research, analyzing data, and making recommendations to improve effectiveness and efficiency. This will be a valuable experience for any student pursuing a career in business administration, entrepreneurship and management

Duties and Responsibilities

· Analyze business goals, objectives, and needs

· Help plan and design business processes and make recommendations for improvement

· Perform research and analysis in support of operations

· Assist in resolving business issues using systems and data

· Estimate costs and benefits of multiple actions and/or solutions and provide recommendations

· Help launch new initiatives

· May perform additional projects upon request

Requirements

· Business Administration or related major

· Experience with Microsoft Office

· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills

· Good written and verbal communication skills

· Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

· Needs to be able to work independently with minimal supervision

Mission

The Network for Developing Conscious Communities (NDCC) mission is to strengthen conscious community development practices in communities of color through building capacity and accessing capital.

Who We Are

The Network for Developing Conscious Communities is a national network organization founded in 2014 that fosters conscious innovative and collaborative relationships among Black community leaders of different incomes, professions, ideologies and from different sectors of the community development movement to address the complexity of Black neighborhood’s socio-economic challenges.

Accomplishments

NDCC has sponsored numerous conferences and symposiums since 2015, focused on addressing the impact of racial disparities in communities of color. In 2019 started Cooperative Baltimore Academy, providing training for individuals interested with starting worker owned cooperative businesses.
