Child Development: Soccer

Internship Responsibilities

Coppermine provides child development soccer classes that are centered around fun, promoting self-confidence and learning the world’s most popular sport. Instructors are responsible for:

- Arriving on time, 15 minutes before a scheduled class, to help with class set-up

- Greeting parents and players as they reach the field with high-fives and high energy

- Helping head coach with redirecting players and making sure all players are involved

- Participating in the soccer games/drills

- Remaining after class to clean up field

- Providing feedback to head coach/coordinator

Skill Set Required

  • High energy and enthusiasm
  • Desire to work with children 110 years old
  • Patience
  • Customer service skills
  • Responsible and consistent
