Clinical Research Internship

Internship Responsibilities

Anne Arundel Medical Center proudly offers a clinical research internship through the AAMC Research Institute. Participants collaborate with a physician mentor and other healthcare professionals in a clinical research setting. Interested students should submit an application, which includes a description of background and interests. Applications are accepted through February 28, 2020. >>Collect and analyze medical information for a current medical research project.

>>Learn key criteria and tools for data collection and interpretation.

>>Present an abstract of findings at the project conclusion.

Skill Set Required

>>College level equivalency (junior or higher)

>>Excellent oral and written communication skills

>>Must be able to think critically, take initiative, and work with minimal supervision

>>3.0 GPA required with documentation via an unofficial transcript

>>Must meet AAMC immunization requirements

>>Must successfully pass a background check

Additional Information

This is an eight-week summer internship from June 8 through July 28, 2020. It is a full-time, up to 40 hours a week commitment. Interns will be paid a $2,000 stipend after the successful completion of their presentation. Housing is NOT provided.
