The Information Technology Intern has the opportunity to shadow members of the Information Technology team in order to learn about the process of installing, configuring, troubleshooting and deploying desktop computers and various software applications. The intern will enjoy hands-on experience by observing and assisting the IT team in providing desktop support for both business staff and residents of an active retirement community.
Skill Set Required
Roland Park Place seeks an enthusiastic student who can derive the most benefit from this valuable learning experience. Such a candidate should be currently enrolled at a college or university, preferably in a related program or with two to three years of related coursework, and should have familiarity and enthusiasm for technology and networking. The student should also have a general knowledge of and an interest in working in an active senior livening community.
The candidate needs to be patient when working with residents and have good customer service skills.
