Internship Responsibilities

Expected projects and duties, based upon experience:          

· Conduct business outreach to update data in an interactive database of defense contractors.

· Research and update data and contacts business tools and resources provided by the office.

· Develop and assist in implementation of a social media program for the office.

Skill Set Required

·   Enrollment in an institution of higher learning.

·   Strong computer skills:

o Experience with Microsoft Office (G Suite, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

  • Experience with digital and social media mediums
  • Good writing/editing skills
  • Excellent communication and research skills
  • Innovative in developing new ways to conduct outreach to target agencies, prime contractors and small businesses

Preferred Areas of Study/Major(s)

Business, Marketing/Communications, Economics or Political Science
