The Maryland Book Bank distributes over 200,00 books per year to children and educators in under-resourced neighborhoods.
Get valuable experience at a local non-profit organization while working hands-on with the community. Responsibilities include organizing book inventory and incoming donations, packing book orders, assisting in a weekly Bookmobile school visits, scheduling and training volunteers, and general administrative duties.
Skill Set Required
Successful Program Interns will have a passion for non-profit service and literacy efforts.
Collaborative approach to the workplace and flexibility.
A valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
