About Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap

The Baltimore Teacher Supply Swap equips teachers and families for education by repurposing supplies others no longer need. Since its founding in 2014, The Teacher Supply Swap has provided over $512,000 worth of supplies to area educators; but we want to do more. With the 5,142 teachers in Baltimore spending more than 3 million dollars annually on supplies, the frustration of still not meeting student needs and decreasing educational funding has led to a high burnout and turnover rate among teachers. Our program helps to relieve this stress, reserving the personal income and energy of the educational staff for who needs it most, the students.
