The Social Media Intern is a position working across TurnAround’s Community Engagement and Training (CET) team — managing and enhancing the agency’s online presence and growth. Through conducting research to create informed and attractive social media content and campaigns that appeal to and educate Turnaround’s online audience of community members, stakeholders, current and potential clients. The ideal coordinator would be passionate about social media and proficiency with major social media platforms and management tools and maintains the integrity of the agency brand. A minimum of 20 hours per week will be required.
Skill Set Required
Ability to deliver unique and engaging social media content.
Direct experience using social media management tools (such as Hootsuite).
Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel).
Experience with Canva or equivalent digital media editing tools.
Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML.
Strong written and verbal communications, copywriting, and copy-editing skills.
Excellent social listening and time management skills.
Detail-oriented approach with an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

This position is predominantly in a standard office environment with the potential for some remote work on an agreed-upon schedule with the approval of a direct supervisor. Office runs from 9am-5pm EST. Must be flexible as weekend and evening hours are often required.
