Internship Responsibilities

LET’S GO Boys and Girls, Inc. works to alleviate poverty through high quality STEM education and long term work force development. To improve the quality of STEM Education, we partner with schools and youth organizations interested in offering STEM to their students and provide the materials, training, and support necessary to implement high quality, fun, ‘hands-on, minds-on’ STEM curricular activities. This long-term Volunteer opportunity will establish a system for providing students with targeted hard and soft skill interventions, supporting them as they persist and develop a ‘sense of identity’ integrating STEM, career, and self. 

Accepted Candidate will: Conduct Research into Poverty Alleviation and Working with Underserved Students, Develop and Administer STEM Scholar Community Needs Assessments; Develop STEM Scholar Support Resource Database; Outreach to communities to develop program interest; and Research new fund development opportunities. CAR REQUIRED for site visits.
