As a Supply Chain Intern, the successful candidate will assist in the creation of tools that improve customer service levels by providing detailed analysis of issues, constraints, & improvement opportunities.  Working closely with the Sr Supply Chain Specialist, this candidate will assist in the implementation of a business Dashboard. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Production Reporting - Dashboard Development & Implementation
  • Mine data in SAP and Business Objects to support dashboard development
  • Provide analysis in Excel and other tools to validate data inputs
  • Work with manufacturing plants and DC to validate run rates and processes that can be used in dashboard development
  • Work with IT and SAP analysts to create standard reports equal to or exceeding what we currently use
  • Work with IT to automate daily population of dashboard from various sources of data
  • Functionally understand the business uses of the dashboards and reporting being developed
  • Review master data elements to be used for reporting tools, identify required corrections
  • Extract data from current tools and software to analyze and validate outputs of new dashboards and reporting
  • Trouble-shoot reporting errors, propose corrective actions, follow up to ensure resolution

  • Completed 2 years of college work – entering junior year in Fall 2017 preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities. Excel and database management
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Self-starter and quick learner
  • Enjoy tackling problems
