The Internet of Things industry is predominately 'made by engineers, for engineers". Leverege is changing that with our passion and dedication to human-centered design. At Leverege, we don't believe in design specialists. We want a designer who can draft illustrations for the marketing team one day and start documenting user interactions for a new client interface the next. You will work closely with both the marketing and product team, crafting client dashboards, updating the Leverege website (company website -- and IoT For All website (rapid growing Tech publication --, designing pitch decks, drafting ad campaigns, illustrating blog posts, documenting user interactions, laying out research papers, and more. Start-ups are a fast-paced environment, and we want someone who can prototype, iterate, collaborate, and complete a project rapidly and at the highest standard.

About Leverege LLC

Leverege was founded in 2014 by Eric Conn and Steven Lee, long-time friends, entrepreneurs, and software engineers, with the goal of connecting the physical environment with the digital world through the application of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies. The two founders have nearly 50 years of hands-on experience designing and delivering mission-critical, big data systems to both commercial and Government customers around the world.

One of their crowning achievements was developing the nation’s first comprehensive air defense system and delivering it to the US Air Force, NORAD, and the FAA 73 days after the events of 9/11. The groundbreaking system that they developed has been operational 24/7/365 since its original installation and has protected US citizens, foreign dignitaries, and Government officials from terrorist attacks over the past 17 years.

Our cross-functional team of engineers, designers, and project managers strive to push the boundaries of the IoT industry. We have a flat organizational structure and everyone at our company wears many different hats. We believe in and value our employees and therefore we strive to make the best work environment possible with an emphasis on open and honest communication.

We are a "culture first" focused environment with flexible work hours and custom workstations. We believe everyone should wear what makes them comfortable, work the hours they are the most productive, and work from where they get the most done. We believe hard work and company culture are the two key ingredients to a great work environment.

The Leverege IoT Platform has set the standard for openness, scalability, and security and powers solutions for some of the largest and most respected brands in the world. The team also manages one of the most authoritative and popular enterprise IoT media properties on the web: IoT For All.

Leverege has two locations in the Baltimore/DC area and is rapidly expanding to meet customer demand for its products and services.
