Internship Responsibilities

  • Creation of Sounds Around The World v2.0 website to include: 
  • Subscription based business model  
  • Marketing flow to funnel potential customers to action

Skill Set Required

  • Knowledge of tools and strategies  to convert website visitors into customers  
  • Strong writing and web content development skills.
  • Experience in multiple social media platforms.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word and Excel.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills essential.
  • Ability to work unsupervised and display a high level of motivation.

About Sounds Around The World

Sounds Around The World is a team-based, collaborative learning game designed for maximum student engagement. It brings together evocative global music and colorful maps to teach geography, civics and history. 

CEO Jason Armstrong Baker is a leader in arts integrated social studies education and an instructor at Towson University. Sounds Around The World is being sold and played in classrooms across the USA, it has been presented at numerous national and state education conferences, and the game design was awarded a US Patent in 2015.
