Baltimore Collegetown Recognized as Ambassador for the Baltimore Region

At the 50th Annual Mayor's Business Recognition Awards on December 11, 2024, Baltimore Collegetown was recognized by the Greater Baltimore Committee as an Ambassador for the Baltimore Region. The ceremony was held to recognize community organizations that have demonstrated exceptional civic leadership and a commitment to improving the quality of life in the Baltimore region. The Ambassador award is a special recognition of businesses that celebrate our city.

“Those of us who are here, who are Baltimorians, we know that it’s a great place for business and higher education,” said Baltimore Collegetown Executive Director Toni St. John. “It’s our job as a community, whether we are nonprofits or in higher education or in business, to make sure that we are acting as ambassadors and telling the story of Baltimore.”

Collegetown's recognition highlighted the organization's accomplishments with attracting and retaining college students to the region.
