  • Toni St. John

    Toni St. John, Executive Director

    Toni is responsible for directing the organization’s mission to attract, engage, and retain students in Baltimore, working closely with Collegetown campuses and community partners. Toni oversees the student programming, marketing and communications, shuttle operations, outreach, and fundraising of the organization. Toni’s background is in nonprofits and higher education, having worked previously at the University of Maryland Carey School of Law, Goucher College, The Women’s Law Center of Maryland, and the Maryland Legal Aid Bureau. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and her Juris Doctor from the Maryland Carey Law School. Among other community engagement and volunteer roles, she serves on the Baltimore Regional Transit Commission and is a Baltimore County Revenue Authority board member. Toni is proud to call Baltimore her adopted home, having lived and worked in the region for over twenty-five years.

  • Molly Hayeslip

    Molly Hayeslip, Associate Director

    Molly is responsible for leading 4 major large-scale programs focused on attracting, engaging, and retaining college students in Baltimore (The Collegetown and Gown Tour, Collegetown Underground, Student Governance Summit, and Industry Days). Prior to joining Collegetown, Molly worked for five years as the assistant director of guest experience in Stevenson University's admissions office. Her background is in logistical planning, project management and customer service. She earned her master's degree in contemporary communication from Notre Dame of Maryland University and her bachelor's degree in theater production and English from the University of Delaware. Molly is a Maryland native and has lived in Baltimore City and County for the last decade. She loves meeting new people, trying out new restaurants, and enjoying the quirky personality that Baltimore has!

  • Sonyae Williams

    Sonyae Williams, Program Manager

    Sonyae is responsible for monitoring and managing the Collegetown Shuttle, one of the organization's most prominent programs that transports thousands of riders each year between multiple colleges and area destinations. Sonyae also oversees many of Collegetown’s Communities of Practice including, but not limited to: Baltimore Colleges and Universities for a Sustainable Environment (B’CaUSE), Baltimore Student Exchange Program (BSEP), and Emergency Management for participating campuses. Before joining the Collegetown Network, Sonyae was an Operations and Outreach Associate in the Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship Department of Baltimore Corps’ Kiva Program and also was a member of Baltimore Corps’ Public Ally Apprenticeship. She has a background in science and biology, bringing together all of her character strengths like creating systems, solving logistical problems, data and analytical knowledge, and managing projects. Sonyae is a New Jersey native but has been a resident of Baltimore for almost 10 years now! Some of her favorite activities include Art museums, sitting by the water, going for walks, and having picnics on sunny days. She loves meeting new people and sharing her contagious vibrant spirit!

    Anthony Anderson, Assistant Program Coordinator

    Anthony assists with the Collegetown Shuttle, student programming, Look Book, campus and community outreach, and other key marketing and communications initiatives. He is from Baltimore and graduated from West Virginia Wesleyan College with a bachelor's degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Communications. Anthony joins Collegetown through the Maryland Department of Service and Civic Innovation as part of the Maryland Service Year Option. Outside of work, he is passionate about hitting the gym, cherishing moments with family and friends, and expressing his creativity through drawing and painting as a way to recharge his spirit. Anthony loves exploring Baltimore, and his favorite spots are Fells Point, The Avenue in White Marsh, and Mount Vernon because each place has its unique charm that makes it special.

  • Headshot of Emma Spicknall, Communications Manager

    Emma Spicknall, Communications Manager

    Emma is responsible for managing Baltimore Collegetown's communications, marketing, and outreach efforts, including digital campaigns, newsletters, and program support. Emma is a first-generation college student and earned her Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Baltimore, where she worked in various roles on campus to promote the charms of the city to fellow students. Prior to joining Collegetown, Emma was the marketing director for a national nonprofit choral arts organization, where she formulated novel ideas and brand guidelines with a fresh eye for a new generation. She is ecstatic to be working with higher education institutions in a city that gave her immense opportunity and support as a student! Emma is a Maryland native who has lived in Annapolis, Baltimore, and Towson. In her free time, Emma enjoys learning languages, walking along the Inner Harbor, going to farmer's markets, and spending time with her tuxedo cats.
