Student Governance Summit

Learn, Engage, Lead

Collaborate with your fellow student leaders from Baltimore-area institutions at the annual Student Governance Summit. The summit is an opportunity to network with peers, learn from a panel of alumni, participate in roundtable discussions, and attend breakout sessions.

The seventh annual Student Governance Summit will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

Location: Goucher College, Hyman Forum, Athenaeum.

Time: 10am-3pm

SUMMIT GOALS

Participants will:

  • Identify ways to increase overall student government engagement and/or participation on campus.

  • Reflect upon their roles as student leaders.

  • Connect with other student governance leaders from other institutions. 

  • Focus on intent vs. impact.

  • Build community and network across institutions. 

  • Develop leadership skills and personal growth.

  • Learn how to manage, lead, and navigate being an SGA member.
