Celebrating and Collaborating Across the Network
Collegetown's annual Leaders in Higher Education event brings college and university presidents, administrators, faculty and staff, stakeholders, and changemakers in the network and the region together to celebrate and collaborate on shared issues and concerns.
PROMOTING CHANGE
Leaders in Higher Education is an annual celebration of higher education in the Baltimore region. Through sharing ideas and solutions, leading changemakers in Baltimore can address the region's challenges and promote its strengths. The event brings together leaders across colleges and universities, state and local government, and corporate and nonprofit partners.

2025
The 2025 Leaders in Higher Education event, held on April 23 at UMB BioPark, was focused on talent retention in the Baltimore region.
With two roundtable discussions - one from a university and education perspective, and one from an employment and talent recruitment perspective - local change-makers and leaders came together to tackle recent questions and challenges in the Baltimore region with an eye toward collaborative problem-solving.
Participants discussed the role of higher education, government, business, and other partners in retaining talent and creating a thriving workforce, and renewed commitment to cooperation.
