Internship Responsibilities
The Client Services internship program is designed to provide a preview of the work in RPS Client Services with a mixture of administration tasks and project work to support client relationships. The goal of the internship is to develop operational and retirement plan knowledge with a focus on building relationships and providing superior operational and administrative support for RPS clients.
The T. Rowe Price internship program includes a formal orientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, interns also gain exposure to associates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, networking and social events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups.
About The Team – Retirement Plan Services
We have great investment solutions, but we need to get those solutions into the hands of our clients. To help us connect with our clients, we have created robust and varied distribution channels. The Global Distribution team manages our relationships with financial institutions, financial advisors, and financial intermediaries who offer our investment solutions to clients. They manage relationships with U.S. and Americas based intermediaries as well as intermediaries in Asia, the Pacific region, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. This team also manages relationships with individual investors, retirement plan sponsors, and participants. Global Distribution also works to develop new global distribution channels.

Rowe Price Retirement Plan Services is an experienced, full service recordkeeper for retirement savings accounts such as; 401k, 403(b), 457, defined benefit, and nonqualified plans.
Responsibilities may include:
- Support internal client services and processes including processing beneficiary splits and fee invoices
- Create, review, and update internal/external reports and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Produce marketing material and client kits used in client meetings and/or advisor reporting
- Project work across Client Services which may include data analysis, database cleanup, competitor research, website updates/design, and updating client facing materials
Qualifications
Required:
- Full-time student pursuing a bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date of December 2027 – May/June 2029
- Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
- Open to all college majors including but not limited to Marketing, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, and Political Science

- Ability to effectively present to internal and external stakeholders
- A growth mindset with commitment to ongoing learning of AI-augmented platforms
- Strong interpersonal, relationship-building and collaboration skills
