Internship Responsibilities
You will work closely with the Master Gardyner to provide valuable, hands-on assistance within the Plant Health and Nutrition Team. Specifically, you will maintain, improve and support the team's customer support goals, plant portfolio initiatives, and other identified needs. You should have a passion for sustainable agriculture, small-scale gardening, and innovative growing methods. Additionally, we seek someone who will perform all duties with a high degree of reliability, independence, and initiative.
Preferred Skills
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures
- Basic knowledge concerning quantitative data collection (i.e. scale reading, numeric decimal precision, etc.)
- Detail oriented and organizational skills
- Personable and outgoing
- Ability to lift 50 lbs., with reasonable accommodations made as needed
- Familiar with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
- Must enjoy plants
