Finance: System Integration Intern

Internship Responsibilities
The BMA’s Finance Department is seeking a Fall Intern to assist with a system integration project between the Advancement and Finance Teams. The intern will act as the internal liaison between the BMA and Blackbaud (software owner) to help us gain further insight into the step-by-step process of this integration. They will help to coordinate, benchmark, and project manage the integration process by using reports from both departments.
The intern will also connect with Blackbaud to advise on how to archive or remove inaccurate/outdated data. The ideal candidate will have an IT background with an interest in Finance. The position may also work on other department projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience working in a database
• Project management
• IT (program writing) skills
Candidates must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited Undergraduate, graduate, or doctorate program.
Preferred Skills
• System integration
• Project reporting
• Data tracking
• Report testing (running tests, finding errors, etc.)
